Meditation - Mark Ponzi
Meditation is a process in which we learn to quieten the mind and expand our awareness. Within that awareness, we discover we can bring peace to the heart, increase happiness and connect to our deepest truth. Meditation invites healing, creativity and wisdom.
Marc organizes guided meditations, using breath and visualization and teaches valuable tools based on the 7 Chakras and their associations.
Meditation is an all round health support. With regular practice it can bring about positive results in stress management, self management of ill health as well as personal and spiritual development.
Research has shown that meditation reduces muscle tension, lowers blood pressure, stimulates the immune system and the production of white blood cells, opens constricted air passages, increases blood circulation in the digestive tract, the skin and the brain, and balances the left and right brain.
Various techniques are offered so you can explore, understand and experience what works best for you. These will include progressive muscle relaxation, breath work and guided visualization.

Yoga - Michael Alder
Yoga is a vehicle for reuniting the body, mind and spirit. Yoga postures engage the entire body, stretching, strengthening and toning muscles and joints, the spine and the skeletal system. The postures also work on toning and increasing circulation to the internal organs and glands as well as the central nervous system.
Breathing practices offer the experience of bringing increased oxygen and energy to every cell in the body. Breathing revitalises the body and strengthens the nervous system. The breathing practices assist in calming the mind. Deep relaxation allows the body and mind to release tension and stress, thereby liberating vast resources of energy.
During meditation we learn to sit and watch the movement of the mind as an impartial observer. By utilising different techniques we gradually move from concentration to a place where concentration simply slips away.
At this place we are able to experience and enjoy the tranquillity, peace and happiness that is our true nature.
Michael draws upon 20 years of experience in many different yoga traditions to provide a balanced and interesting class suitable for all levels of experience from beginners to long time practitioners. Whether you wish to stand on your head or enjoy a deep relaxation you will be able to progress comfortably at your own pace.

Ear Candling- Laurie Jane Hilder-Quach & Allison Pasznyk
Ear candling has been practiced over many years and in many different countries, including Asia and has been traced back to the Indians of South and North America. The candles can assist in relieving symptoms related to the ear and head. It is a painless procedure that uses heat as its primary application. The candle is placed in the ear with the opposite end alight. The heat of the smoke softens the earwax, which is then drawn into the candle.
The experience of ear candling is very relaxing. As you lay listening to the soft crackling of the candle burning, your therapist softly massages your face, neck and head. This not only feels good but it helps with circulation, assisting the ear candling for a greater result.
