Holistic Kinesiology - Jane Lee-Stewart & Marilla Cooper

Kinesiology draws from both Western physical science and Eastern energetic science and plays a major role in mind-body-energy healing. This gentle, non-invasive, hands-on therapy uses the body's own biofeedback mechanisms to locate and release blockages to the body's energy flow and so rebalance this flow.

Procedures used include acupressure, reflex-point stimulation, neuro-structural rebalancing, flower and gem essences, sound, light and colour therapy, creative visualization, nutrition, crystal therapy and chakra and auric balancing.

Kinesiology has wide application and can be used to treat emotional disorders, resolve deep subconscious issues and attitudes, stress, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, confused thinking, poor concentration and memory, learning and co-ordination difficulties, food sensitivities, allergies and electromagnetic field radiation sensitivities (especially from computers).

It compliments many other healing modalities and can identify the most appropriate modality needed at the time.

Jane has a special interest in stress management and helping people understand how non-physical realms affect the physical body. Healing sessions are nurturing and relaxing and focus on developing self  knowledge and reconnection with the wisdom of the body and the higher self.

Jane's training encompasses the major streams of kinesiology including Applied Physiology, Touch for Health, Transformational Kinesiology, Counselling Kinesiology and LEAP (Learning Enhancement Acupressure Program for performance enhancement and learning difficulties).

She holds a Diploma of Health Science (Holistic Kinesiology) has completed studies in psychosomatic medicine and is a fully trained neurofeedback practitioner for the Serenity System of neuromeditation and neurofeedback also available at the centre.

Marilla Cooper holds a Diploma in Health Science (Holistic Kinesiology) and has completed training in LEAP and NST (Bowen Therapy). She also brings with her

skills developed over many years as a teacher, disability worker, craft instructor and residential worker. Marilla specialized in teaching children and adolescents with social and emotional problems. Emphasis is on students learning at their own pace and developing confidence to use their newly acquired skills.

Applied Physiology - Jane Lee-Stewart and Marilla Cooper

A revolutionary branch of Applied Kinesiology developed by Richard Utt who has described Applied Physiology as the acupunture link to Applied Kinesiology.

This system is based on Hologram theory. Every experience we have ever had, is coded as a combination of two meridians (energy channels through which the life force energy flows), an object meridian and a reference meridian.

This Hologram is stored like a file in the body computer. If you balance a Hologram that in the past caused a negative response and change it to a positive response, these changes will now be saved in the body computer. Therefore the body will react in a positive way the next time this Hologram is activated.

There are specific hologram protocols to access imbalances via the organs, muscles, the blood, teeth, brain and energy fields.

Transformational Kinesiology
- Jane Lee-Stewart

Transformational Kinesiology is a branch of energy or vibrational kinesiology that employs principles of the ageless widsoms, transpersonal psychology and esoteric healing to allow you to gain awareness and insights from the bodymind that were previously unavailable.

A TK balance provides self understanding and transforms habitual patterns, allowing internal shifts that allow for increased vitality and expansion of consciousness.

TK balancing is designed to work on the inner planes, to meet you where you are now and gently and powerfully move you to your next level of growth.

Jane brings to this work, thirty years of spiritual, esoteric and philosophic enquiry, study and reflection. The work reawakens one's consciousness of connection to the source and preparedness for grace.

LEAP (Learning Enhancement Acupressure Program)
- Jane Lee-Stewart and Marilla Cooper

From the perspective of the kinesiologist, learning difficulties and dysfunctions arise from the inability to access or integrate specific brain functions.

The Leap system (learning enhancement program) developed by Dr Charles Krebs and practised at Moonee Ponds by Jane Lee-Stewart and Marilla Cooper assesses and resolves learning difficulties by reopening and restoring correct timing to electrical pathways.

The brain has several functional regions, each processing information in different ways For example, the two hemispheres of the brain, left (logic) and right (gestalt) each specialise in different functions and types of information processing. These hemispheres are not separate, but connected along most of their length at the bottom of the fissure by a structure called the Corpus Callosum whose millions of fibres transmit information from one hemisphere to the other.

If 100% of these pathways are available to transmit information then it will be easier to access and integrate brain functions. Many complex learning tasks like reading and spelling require not just access to functions in both hemispheres but the integration and simultaneous processing of information at all levels in the brain.

If you cannot access all brain functions or have difficulty integrating them, you may have difficulty performing tasks involving those areas of the brain.

Many people know they or their children are intelligent but seem to have mental "blocks" when it comes to a particular area. Kinesiologists who specialise in brain integration have found that patterns of learning difficulties correlate to the person's access to certain logic and gestalt lead functions, and by re-establishing access to both functions with kinesiological techniques, they will be able to perform at their potential with ease and no stress.
