Dr Anne Small
Dr Anne Small is very experienced in diagnosing physical and emotional illnesses after having graduated in 1973 and gaining extensive experience working in centres including the Kensington Community Health Centre, The Royal Children's Hospital and the Aboriginal Health Service.
She will perform the necessary physical examination and testing, and work with the client to develop a holistic management plan.
Dr Small founded the Moonee Ponds MindBody Health Centre in 1996 and has worked with many different complementary practitioners over this time. As such, she has an excellent knowledge of how the different therapies can assist individual clients at different stages of their healing journey.
She recognises the side effects caused by many Western drug treatments, therefore non-pharmaceutical approaches are often favoured and referrals may be made to other practitioners at the Centre for natural healing remedies. She also specializes in prescribing bio identical hormones where the client has a hormone deficiency.

Jane Lee-Stewart
Jane commenced kinesiology training in 1997 at Australia’s first government accredited course in kinesiology at the Kinesiology College of Energetic Sciences with industry pioneers, Kerryn Franks, Dr Charles Krebs and Chris Rowe.
Her interests include identifying emotional blocks to wellness, stress management, brain integration for learning difficulties, relationship issues, anxiety and mood disorders including panic attacks, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, food sensitivity testing, prenatal balancing, chronic pain, self-sabotage, phobias, compulsions and addictions.
Jane is also a practitioner of Serenity Neuro Feedback, a software program, which uses sound- based biofeedback to measure and re-train brainwaves. Her special interests include meditation, mindfulness based stress management and spiritual and psychosomatic approaches to health.

Kate Lukis
Kate began practising as a naturopath in Central Victoria in 2003. Before this time, she had been in the Social Work field for the past eighteen years working with children, adolescents and adults around issues pertaining to sexual abuse, domestic violence, neglect, emotional abuse, drug and alcohol problems, mental health issues, homelessness and refugees.
Kate integrates her counselling skills and experience in her Naturopathic work. In her consultations, she incorporates Iridology, prescribes Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Nutritional supplementation together with lifestyle advice and counselling to unlock the client's innate ability to heal.

Wei Wei Qian
Wei Wei Qian graduated in China as a doctor of Chinese medicine and acupuncture before working in the department of gynaecology, internal medicine and orthopaedics at the Red Cross Hospital (China) for seven years.
She has over 28 years experience practising in both hospitals and clinics using acupuncture and herbal medicine. Wei Wei has also taught acupuncture to Western students studying Traditional Chines Medicine in China.
Since 1990, Wei Wei has been practising in Melbourne where she successfully treats conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, hay fever, digestive problems, sports injuries and stress related conditions.
Wei Wei specialises in the treatment of gynaecological disorders, specifically beneficial for clients suffering from PMS, menopausal symptoms and infertility problems. Her extensive clinical experience assures an optimal outcome for most conditions that have been challenged by more mainstream health approaches.

Frances Farnan – Doctor of Chinese Medicine
Frances is a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. She gained her valuable learning experience from the double degree at RMIT University, graduating with Distinction. She has also completed a clinical internship at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, and volunteered as an Acupuncturist at Tuong Quang Temple Clinic for the financially disadvantaged in Vietnam.
She has spent an extensive time in China and Vietnam and recognises that health is not just about taking medicine and receiving treatments, but also about the relationship each patient has with their own body: the food they ingest, the environment they live in, and the relationships they have with other people. During treatments, Frances often explains the underlying Chinese Medicine diagnosis to the patient so that they can begin to understand and manage their own health in their day to day life.
Her particular interest lies in digestive disorders, and the treatment of stress/anxiety and emotional disturbances. She also employs Acupuncture as a conjunct therapy for patients receiving IVF treatment.

Laurie Hilder-Quach
Since completing her Diploma of Health Science (Massage) in 2001, Laurie has been working as a Remedial Massage therapist. She joined the team at Moonee Ponds MindBody Health Centre in 2002.
Laurie is able to offer her clients rebates from their private health insurance with the appropriate cover, as well as working with clients who are on WorkCover. She holds a professional membership with Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT), which ensures she constantly updates her massage training, CPR and first aid certificate.
Using her wide range of training and modalities, Laurie is able to suggest the most effective treatments to benefit her clients. She may also suggest other treatments by other practitioners at the clinic that would be therapeutic for her clients.
After completing two Manual Lymphatic Drainage courses in 2008, Laurie has an interest in working with clients suffering with lymphoedema and other lymphatic conditions.
As a mother of two young children and a qualified Infant Massage Instructor, Laurie has a strong desire to expand her knowledge further into infant and paediatric massage. She would also like to continue teaching parents and carers on the benefits of massaging the young.

Richard Bligh
Richard has been involved in some form of bodywork for the past twenty years. For twelve of these years, Richard has been using bodywork in the therapeutic context of massage. He has been a Shiatsu Practitioner since 2006.
Richard practices Zen Shiatsu which is a Japanese form of massage
utilizing the meridian system and acupoints of Traditional Chinese
Medicine. Richard addresses complaints in a holistic manner which
often includes appropriate alteration to both diet and exercise to support a healthier lifestyle. Through his own experience as well as working with clients, Richard is convinced that a well functioning body is the key to well-being in all aspects of life.

Shaun Sharp
Shaun Sharp was almost born with sneakers on! After a brief stint in graphic design, Shaun began intensive study in the areas of his passion – Exercise Science and Sports Coaching. He has worked with many sporting clubs from the amateur to elite levels. Hawthorn Football Club, Victorian Institute of Sport, North Ballarat Football Club and many individual athletes are among his clients.
Since 1989, Shaun has also worked as a Personal Trainer and more recently as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. His clients range from people aiming for a greater level of fitness, to those with injuries looking to get back to a pain-free, fit and healthy lifestyle.
Shaun’s training as a Strength and Conditioning Coach means he has additional knowledge and training when it comes to exercise prescription, movement analysis and functional anatomy.

Michael Alder
Michael been practising Yoga for approximately twenty years. In the year 2000,he completed teacher training and has been teaching regularly since then under the company name Yoga 2000.
During the course of his Yoga career, Michael has attended many schools and practiced a comprehensive range of modalities from Ashtanga to Tantra. Along with most other Yoga teachers, Michael has also read a large number of books and attended countless workshops and seminars to boost his teaching knowledge.
Michael works as a Yoga practitioner and a teacher who feels equally comfortable teaching a Yoga class based on the techniques associated with Iyengar, Ashtanga, Bikram, Gita or Kriya. Ian Rogers
Ian is a meditation facilitator and spiritual teacher who trained in the Western esoteric tradition in the United Kingdom. He works both nationally and internationally, and is renowned for his classes, workshops and insightful personal readings.
Ian’s belief is that one cannot make informed decisions in life without knowledge, and for the decisions to be positive, the knowledge has to be accurate. Hence, his focus and concentration on his work of spiritual teaching.
Ian holds spiritual workshops where he publicly demonstrates his work and teaches the fundamentals of spirituality to members of the public. Since 1991, Ian has conducted Spiritual Development groups which operate in Melbourne, country Victoria and Sydney. In these group sessions, Ian teaches mediumship as well as meditation.
Ian conducts guided meditation classes for individuals, groups and businesses. He also acts as a business mentor, from a spiritual perspective, for a number of clients throughout Australia and internationally. Sifu Michael has spent over a third of his life practising various martial arts. He commenced his training in Chi Kung and Tai Chi with Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit of the Shaolin Wahnam Institute in 2005. He is one of a small number of Certified Shaolin Wahnam Instructors from an international student base of over 2,000 practitioners and aspires to the modern application of the Shaolin principles of the scholar-warrior-monk.
Sifu Michael teaches Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung as a gentle but profound form of moving meditation that is simple, direct and effective. He also teaches Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan as a graceful form of exercises that reveal a powerful internal martial art. Samantha graduated with a Diploma of Health Sciences in Holistic Kinesiology from The College of Energetic Sciences in 1999, and has been working in private practice ever since.

Samantha enjoys working with clients on the emotional spiritual level of their evolution. She has worked with people wanting to address issues around: depression, anxiety, eating and body image, abuse, self harm, phobias, obsessions, addiction, grief, self-esteem, emotional blocks and untapped potential. Muscle testing can help identify the emotional stresses in our lives and their origins. By respectfully allowing what is hidden to come to light- the opportunity arises for conscious realisation and transformation to take place.
Having a special interest in the psycho-spiritual connection to optimal health in 2000 she pursued further studies in counselling through Latrobe University graduating with a Graduate Diploma in Counselling. In 2006 she completed the Certificate in Specialist training in Relationship counselling from relationship Australia. She has spent two years as a Lifeline telephone counsellor and 18 months as a voluntary crisis support advocate.
She has 14 years experience within the education system working with children and those with special needs as an integration aide, behavioural therapist and tactile therapist. Prior to this she worked for ten years as an actor.
She has a personal interest in Eastern Philosophies.
This eclectic background has provided a broad base of experience and personal reflection which she brings to her practice as a Kinesiologist. She is interested in the mind-body-spirit connection to personal wellbeing.
