We strive to protect all personal client information while keeping client records clear and accessible to clients at all times. Client information can only be released upon receipt of the written consent of the client and his/her practitioner.

The Moonee Ponds MindBody Health Centre collects personal client information in the context of a consultation at our Centre. We collect client information such as address, contact telephone numbers, email address as well as consent to contact other health professionals, where appropriate. Most of this information is stored on our client database (as well as in personal client file). This information is used to contact our clients directly regarding a consultation, appointments, or treatment. We may also contact clients with information regarding the centre and other of our services.

At a client consultation, we may also collect personal information that our clients choose to share. This may include details about physical and emotional health concerns and lifestyle factors. We use this information to understand our clients’ health query, to answer questions about client’s health needs and to tailor a treatment program to address the needs of the client. This information is collected only with the consent of the client and can be updated or changed at any time.

We recognise that the nature of our services means information is sensitive. Our reception staff will use telephone details to confirm all appointments 24 hours before the scheduled time.

Moonee Ponds MindBody Health Centre uses clients’ email addresses solely for the purpose of providing information about the centre or the clients’ treatment. The specific client email address will not be added to any mailing list, nor will it be disclosed to any other party without the prior knowledge and consent of the client. Clients can opt to not be contacted by email by us at any time.
