Lian Vandenberg is a registered Psychologist with a B.A (Psych.), Grad. Dip. Ed. Psych., M(Couns.) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
She has experience working with young people and adults presenting with a wide variety of issues in public and private settings.
Lian encourages clients to develop a greater sense of self and a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Part of this process it to work collaboratively with clients to strengthen their ability to increase self-awareness to make choices that enhance their everyday well-being, psychological growth and connectedness to who and what really matters. Lian holds a belief in the human potential to grow on conscious and soul/transpersonal levels.
Lian works with evidence-based psychological approaches such as Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy which are implemented according to a client’s needs, strengths and goals for therapy.
She also has a special interest in integrating psychology, neurology and contemplative practices to support clients work towards Whole-Self balance and wellness.
Complementing the above approaches, Lian utilises a personal and spiritual educational approach known as the Siramati Personal Growth Process to help a client work towards intended goals. This process develops self-awareness of how we are engaging in Life and uses guided visualisations and other techniques to, over time, grow new neural pathways to enhance clients’ health and well-being.

Clients can claim a Medicare rebate for psychology sessions with an appropriate referral from their GP or Psychiatrist.
