Opening The Door To Rio And Beyond – Dr Anne Small
Well I’m out the door and off to where our Health Centre will be front and centre in Rio in a few weeks’ time, well … at least I will be, wearing our special Moonee Ponds MindBody Health Centre ‘AUSTRALIA’ shirts printed especially for the trip to the Olympics.
All smiles as we head to Rio!
Coming from a passion for sports when I was younger and much more active, I’m thrilled to be going to the Olympic city to catch a few races, games and soak up the amazing atmosphere and energy that is always present at such an iconic event.
GO AUSTRALIA!!! The back of our special supporters edition of the Moonee Ponds MindBody Health Centre jacket … the very first thing I packed.
So I’ll be blogging along the way to share my most special experiences and hopefully be able to send a slice of the excitement back home to all our friends and clients.
Just to give you an idea, I’m flying out today to Los Angeles, then to Miami in Florida to get in the holiday mood. Before the Olympics, I’m taking some tours of Cuba, then Peru including a boat ride along the Upper Amazon, then finally I’ll arrive in Rio de Janeiro.
For four days it will be games, sports, goals, hits, losses and wins, and I can’t wait to flaunt our AUSTRALIA shirt wherever I go.
Then to wind down after all the excitement, I’ll get back to nature with a trip to the spectacular Galapagos, and after a couple of nights resting in Chile, it’s back to work in Melbourne on August 24!
It all seems so far away at the moment but when I get there I’ll let you know!
